LONG SYNOPSIS
KILL HOUSE is a full-length satirical thriller that celebrates excess,
and revels in bloodlust and greed. As news of a brutally murdered San
Francisco realtor throws the LA real estate community into a tailspin, fear
and panic
spread as more and more agents turn up dead. At Conner Realty, the
realtors
compete viciously for every listing. Leading the pack is Marta Bauer,
a
chain-smoking narcissist; yipping at her heels is Marc Harmon, a whiner
with
a very big appetite. New to the company is frumpy single mom and compulsive
shopper Sunny Lynch. They all vie for the Van Doren property, owned
by two
self-absorbed parents, Steve and Belinda. Forever out of town, the
Van
Doren's leave Kyle and Lucy, their attention-starved teens, to deal
with the
realtors. With the Van Doren's away, the abandoned property next door
becomes the site of bloody murders and a dumping ground for the dead.
Jimmy,
the groundskeeper is a felon who becomes the police's prime suspect.
Lettie,
his workaholic parole officer, has nagging family problems that blind
her to
the truth. She is forced to rely on local slacker detectives Kirk
and
Rolands, who do whatever they can to avoid work, including leafing
through
porn mags or chatting over lattes. When they throw Jimmy behind bars,
the
killings don't stop - they only get worse. It's a self-indulgent world
of
bloodsuckers, where no one's who he or she seems to be -- and everyone
deserves to die! One by one victims are savagely dropped to the grave
by any
means necessary -- shovels, hatchets, and strangulation- even sharp
pens.
Heinous and hilarious, KILL HOUSE harkens back to the great campy
"slasher"
films of the 70's. Destined to be a cult classic, KILL HOUSE satires
both
horror movies and consumerism. Get drunk, smoke pot, and watch this
movie!
